Kacey Montoya News Biography
Kacey Montoya was invited at the 100th celebration of Andre Steiner,the architect who,during the Second World War,developed a plan that saved the lifes of thousands of Slovakia's Jews.In this purpose,he designed a network of work camps and serios of bribes who saved tens of thousands of jews from deportation in the concentration camps.Kacey Montoya visited the last living member of this underground network in Atlanta,where he celebratedhis 100th birthday.
Altough he has some hearing difficulties,he accepted with pleasure to give Kacey Montoya a interview.After Germany occupied Czechoslovakia,he was forced by Nazis to design work camps for the Jew prisoners.Soon,in 130 work camps worked over 4,000 jews.He formed an underground network which tried to stop jew deportation to Poland.Kacey Montoya found that Andre Steiner was the first who negotiated with Nazi officials who accepted bribes in order to cut Jews off the deportation list.
